Pulitzers and Politics:
Literary Perspectives of WWII

This essay takes on different perspectives of World War II as told by winners of the Nobel Prize in Literature. Each of the three novels covered in the essay cover different angles of the war from various levels of proximity to the story. Written for one of my final courses in my MA program, this was also my third and final course with Dr. Elizabeth Horan-- one of the professors who pushed me most during my program. My interactions with Dr. Horan were special during my time at ASU because she was not only my first professor during my program, but also one of my last. I credit her and her feedback on the evolution of not only my writing, but also in how I planned each essay in advance.
